At the elementary level, Freedom Prep has 2 elementary schools. A campus in Provo and a campus in Vineyard. Each campus offers a preschool 4 days a week both morning and afternoon, full day kindergarten, half day kindergarten in both morning and afternoon, and 5 classes per grade level in grades 1 thru 5.
At the secondary level, Freedom Prep has a middle school with grades 6 thru 8 and a high school consisting of grades 9 thru 12.
Once a student has been accepted into Freedom Preparatory Academy they do not go through the lottery again but can stay in the school through graduation at 12th grade.
Freedom Prep uses a lottery system to enroll new students for each upcoming year.
The lottery is held the first week of March each year.
To be considered in the lottery, applications must be submitted between Oct 1 and Feb 28th.
The number of available seats is based on the number of current students not returning.
Current student siblings receive priority, then those in the lottery.
Each lottery applicant is assigned a random number. The top random numbers are given the open seats.
Once the open seats are filled, applicants are placed on a waiting list in their random order.
After the lottery is run, applicants are notified within 5 days. They then have 10 days to accept or decline the seat.
People applying after the lottery has been run will be added at the bottom of the waiting list.
Not getting a seat in the March lottery does not mean a seat will not become available in the future. During the spring and summer months, seats open up as families end up moving or not returning.
You will receive a call from our Registrar as soon as a seat opens up and your child is at the top of the waiting list.
