Piano Accompanist

Freedom Prep Academy, an established, accredited K-12 charter school in Provo, is seeking a part time piano accompanist for Fall 2024. This position requires the ability to sight-read music on the spot and play vocal warm-up exercises, sight-reading exercises, and vocal literature levels 6th grade through High School. It is essential that the accompanist is confident in playing SATB vocal parts simultaneously as well as play accompaniments. The accompanist works closely with the Choir Director and students and will often be asked to work with vocal sections while the director works with the rest of the choir.

Hours: Approximately 10 hours a week (2 hours a day, Monday through Friday). The daily class schedule will be determined at a later date.
