School Counselor

Freedom Preparatory Academy, an established, dynamic K-12 charter school, is seeking a school counselor at our Secondary Campus starting Fall 2023. As a member of the counseling department, responsibilities include:

Counseling students about college and career readiness (including individual, group, and whole class meetings and lessons)
Providing academic support to students
Providing social-emotional support to students
Providing short-term crisis counseling, as needed
Consulting with teachers, staff, and parents to support efforts of helping students
Creating students’ schedules yearly
Providing support to other secondary educational programs
