Part-time Speech Technician – Vineyard UT

Freedom Prep Academy, an established, accredited K-12 charter school in Provo, is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Technician for its Vineyard Elementary Campus. Knowledge of basic phonological awareness and development remediation, basic articulation remediation, and basic receptive and expressive language remediation are required. We seek applicants who are collaborative, creative, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and compassionate. Pay will be commensurate with experience. Essential job responsibilities:

Under the direction of an SLP, provide therapy in the areas of articulation, phonology, language and fluency
Maintain documentation of students’ progress
Assist with maintaining special education files, scheduling, and SLT approved paperwork as necessary

Applicants must have:

Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders
Completed or have enrolled in the Speech Language Technician training provided by Utah State Office of Education

Preferred Qualifications:

Speaks Spanish
