Speech-Language Pathologist

Freedom Prep Academy, an established, accredited K-12 charter school, is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. We seek applicants who are collaborative, creative, knowledgeable, organized, enthusiastic and compassionate. Essential job responsibilities:

  1. Conduct evaluations and determine eligibility for speech/language services
  2. Develop and implement IEPs
  3. Provide therapy based on evidence-based practice in the areas of articulation, phonology, language, fluency, and pragmatics
  4. Collaborate with parents and other professionals to meet student needs
  5. Maintain documentation of students’ progress
  6. Adhere to state and federal special educations laws and guidelines

Applicants must have:

  1. Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  2. ASHA certified
  3. Current Utah Educator License

Preferred Qualifications:

1.Speaks Spanish
